Labor & Employment Partner or Senior Attorney

Midtown NYC Office

Salary: $275K - $350K


DNA Partners is working with a leading firm to identify a Labor & Employment Partner or Senior Attorney with deep traditional labor law expertise to join its growing New York team.

This is a high-visibility role for a senior attorney looking to step into frontline client leadership and complex labor matters.


What You’ll Do:


  • Represent management in arbitrations, grievance proceedings, and collective bargaining negotiations
  • Advise on union organizing campaigns, elections, and unfair labor practice charges (NLRB)
  • Defend employers in litigation across federal/state courts and administrative agencies
  • Counsel clients on compliance with FLSA, Title VII, FMLA, and NY labor laws
  • Lead workplace investigations and draft handbooks and policies
  • Negotiate and draft CBAs, employment agreements, and restrictive covenants
  • Advise on reductions in force, WARN Act issues, and L&E due diligence
  • Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to practice group growth


What You Bring:


  • 10+ years of traditional labor law experience in a law firm setting
  • Strong background representing employers in NLRB matters and union environments
  • Demonstrated experience in employment litigation and agency proceedings (EEOC, NYSDHR)
  • Admission in New York (NJ a plus)
  • Proven ability to manage complex matters and client relationships independently
  • Excellent advocacy, drafting, and client-facing communication skills
