Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A closed-door long-term care pharmacy in Topeka, KS is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This position offers consistent Thursday and Friday shifts from 9 AM to 6 PM, providing an excellent opportunity to support quality patient care in the specialized area of long-term care pharmacy.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting Quality Assurance (QA) processes to maintain high standards of medication safety
- Performing cycle checking to ensure accurate dispensing and inventory management
- Verifying prescriptions and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Active Kansas Pharmacist License with a clean disciplinary record
- Minimum of 1 year of pharmacist experience; long-term care experience preferred, but recent graduates and those with retail pharmacy experience are encouraged to apply
- Ability to start immediately
Schedule:
- Thursdays & Fridays
- Shift: 9 AM – 6 PM
