Job DescriptionSandri Energy is now hiring for an Overnight Cashier in our Northampton, MA location, conveniently located on North King Street
Sandri is a family-owned small chain of convenience stores, with 18 locations throughout Western Mass, New Hampshire, and Vermont. Sandri takes pride in providing safe stores that keep our customers (and their cars) fueled up and on the go.
Responsibilities of a Cashier at Sandri include:
- Scanning purchases and taking customer payments
- Making change accurately
- Answering customer questions
- Verifying customer ID for age restricted sales
- Stocking shelves and coolers
- Checking in orders
- Store maintenance such as dusting, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping and mopping, wiping down counters and gas pumps, making sure sidewalks are clear and putting down salt, trash and recycling
Our ideal Cashier candidate will have the following skills and traits:
- Reliable attendance
- Attention to customer service
- Able to accurately process payments and lottery transactions and maintain an accurate cash drawer
- Committed to ensuring that alcohol and tobacco can only be purchased by those over 21 with valid ID
- Committed to keeping the store clean, stocked, and safe
