Bilingual Therapies is seeking a qualified School Social Worker to support students across elementary school and preschool settings in Ionia, Michigan. This full-time, onsite opportunity offers the chance to provide meaningful social-emotional support while collaborating with school teams to help students succeed academically and personally.

Position Details

• Full-time position

• 37.5 hours per week

• Start date: August 24, 2026

• Contract through May 14, 2027

• Approximately 40 students

• Supporting two elementary schools and a preschool classroom

• Onsite position

Responsibilities

• Provide school social work services to support students’ academic, social, and emotional needs.

• Support students across elementary and preschool settings.

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other school professionals.

• Help students navigate social-emotional and behavioral challenges that may impact their educational experience.

Qualifications & Experience

• Approval from the Michigan Department of Education as a School Social Worker is required.

• School-based experience is preferred.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Work Hours & Industry

• 37.5 hours per week

• Full-time, onsite

• Elementary and preschool school-based setting

• Social-emotional and student support services
