Field Service Technician - Konica Minolta Production Equipment


The Field Service Representative (Production) plays a key role in delivering exceptional service to clients. This position is responsible for handling service requests, troubleshooting, and performing maintenance and repairs on high-volume Konica Minolta production equipment. This role requires strong electromechanical skills, advanced problem-solving abilities, and a focus on ensuring client satisfaction while serving as the primary contact for service-related needs.

RESPONSIIBILTIES:


Key Responsibilities

·Provide responsive service and support to clients, ensuring timely resolution of requests

·Perform routine and emergency repairs on large-scale Konica Minolta production systems

·Conduct technical diagnostics, apply software updates, and carry out installations

·Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding equipment performance and inventory needs

·Share best practices and assist teammates with service-related procedures


QUALIFICATIONS:


Skills

·Hands-on electromechanical experience, proficiency with multi-meters and electrical schematics

·Strong time management, dependability, and organizational skills

·Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and insurance

·Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and complete physical tasks

·Relevant certifications in equipment service, maintenance, or related fields preferred

Experience

·Previous experience in technical service or equipment support roles, ideally in production environments

·Background in working with high volume, printer/copier systems in production environments

·Solid background in electromechanical work (i.e. HVAC, automotive, or military technical experience)

·Comfortable with structured technical training and independently completing service assignments

·Familiarity with electrical safety standards and component handling


Education

·High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

·Technical certifications or vocational training in service engineering or related fields (required)
