Mission/ Position Description Summary
The mission of a Project Coordinator for HVJ, a leading specialty engineering firm in Texas, is to assist with the implementation the firms general policies and Operations Manuals established by the corporation and to ensure that all financial and administrative services of the office run effectively.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with day-to-day operation of the Geotechnical Team
Provide clerical and administrative support to FA Manager
Prepare and process AR invoicing with all supporting information and appropriately file.
General Financial Tasks: Perform general financial tasks, including (but not limited to):
o Assist with the effective running of services related to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Asset Management
o Attend meetings as requested
o Data entry, scan, email/mail, filing and copying
Other Duties: Perform as requested by your manager(s). This may include cross-training and serving as backup for other duties.
This position will also work closely with the management, project managers, HR and business development personnel.
Key Criteria/ Requirements
Two to three (2-3) years relevant hands-on experience with Invoicing and/or AR duties
Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel/Outlook
Strong math and computer skills, particularly with excel spreadsheets and graphs
Self-starter and detail oriented with focus on accuracy and consistency.
Ability to offer suggestions of value, analyze and solve problems
Ability to multitask with multiple priorities.

Ability to work successfully in a team setting and keep a positive attitude
Must be able to pass drug screen & criminal background check.
Physical Demands
Must be able to read, write, and communicate both verbally and in written form to express and exchange ideas. Frequent typing, writing, sitting.
Work Environment
General office environment with moderate noise. This position involves sitting, walking, or standing, for brief periods of time. A busy environment with many unscheduled interruptions. Frequent computer usage at workstation. Appropriate business casual.
