We are looking for a skilled Support Desk Technician to provide exceptional technical customer service in a retail environment. This is a long-term contract position based in the west, Minnesota, metro offering a dynamic opportunity to assist customers and ensure seamless operations. The role requires strong communication and problem-solving abilities to deliver effective support. Responsibilities:
- Working on supporting the technicians that are going onsite to store locations
- Answering calls from the technicians to assist with any sort of problem or question with the POS System
- Assisting troubleshoot the common problems
- Creatively problem
- Handling upset and frustrated technicians at time and helping claim them down
- Taking a bulk amount of phone calls
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for data entry and reporting tasks.
- Experience with multi-line phone systems and handling inbound calls professionally.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on delivering superior support.
- Familiarity with basic hardware and software troubleshooting techniques.
- Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage tasks like scheduling and record updates.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with customers and internal teams.
