POSITION: 40 Help Desk Associate
SALARY RANGE: $38,000 - $48,000
DEPARTMENT OR BRANCH LOCATION: West Ashley
SUPERVISOR: Bret Roesner
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION FUNCTION: As a Help Desk Associate, you will play a critical role in providing technical support to our employees, helping them overcome various IT-related issues. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about technology, enjoy problem-solving, and want to pursue a career in the IT. ** Hours could vary – must be flexible.
Responsibilities:
• Provide first-level technical support to end users via phone, email, and remote desktop tools.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues, including operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
• Document, track, and update support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Assist with account management tasks such as password resets, access requests, and basic permissions.
• Support Active Directory tasks, deprovisioning, and statement processing functions as assigned.
• Collaborate with senior IT staff to escalate and resolve more complex technical issues.
• Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously build technical knowledge.
• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a professional and positive support experience.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; IT certifications, training, or coursework are a plus.
• Strong interest in technology and a desire to learn and grow within the IT field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and standard business applications.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
