Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) (Nights)
Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment in Petoskey, MI.
Contract Details
- Nights 12 hr nights 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 9/28/2026
- Contract: 13 Weeks
- Location: Petoskey, MI
- Hourly Pay: $ 30.25
- Non-taxed Stipend: $ 1246.00
- Weekly Total Pay: $ 2062.75
- Weekend Requirements: Every other
- Nonbillable Hours: 12 hours
- Dress Code: Gray Scrubs
- Traveler Policy: Anyone with a permanent address within a 35 mile radius of facility is considered a local traveler.
**Any RN contractor who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled shift 3 times will be terminated effective immediately. Situations such as a communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting evidence will be reviewed in favor of the contractor. This policy will begin on 6/1/2024.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform chest examinations on a range of patients from babies through to the elderly
- Consult with doctors and other healthcare staff to develop and modify patient treatment plans
- Provide detailed therapy, requiring significant independent judgment, like when caring for patients in intensive care
- Perform physical examination and diagnostic tests measuring lung capacity and blood acidity and alkalinity
- Treat patients using oxygen or oxygen mixtures, aerosol medications and chest physiotherapy
- Connect patients who can’t breathe to a ventilator
- Educate patients on how to use equipment and medication
- Regularly check on patients and equipment
Compensation:
- Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)
- Pay package details provided upon offer
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have 2+ Years of RRT Experience
- Must have Travel Experience
- Must have ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Must have Michigan State License Requirements
- Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
- Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
- Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.
