We are currently hiring an experienced Automotive Transmission Technician to join our growing service department.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and Ford-certified Automotive Transmission Technician to handle complex transmission diagnostics and repairs. This role is ideal for a technician who takes pride in precision, performance, and professionalism. As part of our expert service team, you will work in a supportive environment with state-of-the-art equipment and a strong focus on quality and safety.

Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: Based on experience and certification level

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, remove, and repair transmission systems on a variety of Ford vehicles

• Conduct advanced transmission work including rebuilds, overhauls, and replacements

• Perform transmission services, including fluid exchanges and clutch repairs

• Collaborate with service advisors and other technicians to ensure accurate estimates and timely repairs

• Maintain clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards

• Stay current with manufacturer training and certifications

• Document work performed using dealership systems

Qualifications:

• Ford Certification required

• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Transmission Technician

• Prior experience at a Ford dealership preferred

• Proficiency in diagnosing automatic and manual transmission issues

• Solid understanding of electronic diagnostic tools

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
