Media Operations Administrator
ABOUT THE POSITION
As a freelance position, the Media Operations Administrator is responsible for assisting in ensuring that all the show media from production gets organized and prepared for any post production necessities. This includes prepping all media for the editors, ongoing support, online preps, final conform, and deliveries.
This position will be responsible for DITing field shoots and then returning to our production offices to Media Manage for the edit team. Must be willing to work in dual locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain and optimize media organization systems, ensuring recorded materials are properly ingested, labeled, and stored for editorial use.
- Available for on set DIT services as needed: offload media during shoots, fill out media log if Media Logger is not on set, verify data integrity, and ensure media safely makes it back to home base.
- Support show editors and post-production teams by troubleshooting file management and workflow issues.
- Assist with technical prep such as syncing multicams, create proxy files of the raw media and/or resize or convert media files. organizing project files, and preparing materials for edit and review.
- Partner with the Media Ops Team to document and evolve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices of the Show Edit Bible and other supporting show documentation.
- Maintain accurate metadata, documentation, and version tracking across series projects.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Post, Operations, and Technology to ensure editing remote systems, media workflows, etc are working effectively for the Edit team.
- Prepare external hard drives with the prepared media for the editors as needed.
- On Shoot days may be required to ingest the media directly to server after the shoots on Studio location.
- Organize any media that comes back from the editors and properly ingest it back
into the server, ensure all of the Premiere projects reconnect and that the MASTERs
and SVODs files are there and properly named.
- Assist Editors and Producers with media pulls and exports, and render graphics when needed.
- Set up the Finishing suite for edit sessions, VO sessions, or color reviews as needed.
- Assist anyone using remote machines set ups in the studio as needed.
- Handle online prep & conforming for editors. This position will work closely with colorists and sound mixers to ensure files are prepped and received correctly.
- Own final technical deliveries of projects including SVOD, Pro Res Master, etc to ensure deliveries are timely and to Company specifications and standards.
- Address Quality Control notes as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-4 years of experience of expertly using Adobe products. Premiere, Media Encoder, After Effects and Photoshop. Expertise using Resolve and ProTools is required. Knowledge of assembling reels in Premiere is a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience working Online editing/conforming.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Able to be on-call on weekends and after office hours as needed
- Great organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Extensive knowledge of Chrome tools. Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, etc. Knowledge of Airtable is a plus.
- SUPER Extensive and incredible sense of humor.

LOCATION: In Office [BURBANK,CA] plus Travel Required 9/14-10/2. Field shoot locations: New Orleans, Atlanta, & Michigan
Roundtrip coach airfare, min 2.5-3 star hotel accommodation, $50/day per diem, and 1 checked bag included outside of day rate.
