About the Role:
Join the family at Rocky Mountain True Value as a Retail Associate! In this exciting role, you'll provide exceptional customer service and support our community in Emmett, ID, while helping customers find the tools and supplies they need for their projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting products and provide knowledgeable recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring product displays are appealing.
- Process transactions efficiently at the cash register and handle cash, credit, check, invoice, and other sales.
- Restock shelves and manage inventory to ensure product availability.
- Answer customer questions and resolve issues with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and store policies.
Preferred experience :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail experience is a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
- Willingness to learn about products and services offered in-store.
- Must be able to lift and carry items up to 60 lbs.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
