This is a remote position.
As a IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and IT solutions for business clients. This role includes troubleshooting, installations, upgrades, network support, and maintaining secure, reliable IT environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical support and consultation
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Install and configure desktops, servers, network equipment, and VoIP systems
- Support Microsoft Windows desktop and server environments
- Assist with network infrastructure and structured cabling projects
- Recommend hardware and software upgrades
- Maintain system security and backup best practices
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support, consulting, or help desk roles
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, networking, and security
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and desktop operating systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with VoIP systems and network infrastructure preferred
- Cloud platform experience is a plus
