We are an FAA-approved Fixed Base Operation, FBO, with Flight School, Aircraft Maintenace, and Line Service operations. We are looking for an experienced, dedicated and detail-oriented Aviation Stockroom Clerk to join our team. This role will play a key role assisting with the restructuring and continuous improvement of our Aircraft Parts Department, and vital in ensuring our stockroom runs efficiently and that aviation parts and supplies are managed effectively.
Job Summary:
The Aviation Stockroom Clerk will be responsible for the organization, inventory management, and distribution of aviation parts, tools, and supplies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of stockroom procedures, possess excellent organizational skills, and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with FAA Parts Management and Repair Station regulations is a plus!
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming aviation parts and supplies to ensure accuracy and compliance with purchase orders.
- Organize and maintain the stockroom, ensuring that parts are easily accessible and stored in compliance with FAA and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in reconciling discrepancies as needed.
- Prepare and replenish stock for various operational areas, ensuring timely availability of parts.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, including receipts, issues, and stock levels.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to facilitate the efficient flow of materials.
- Assist in the development and implementation of stockroom management processes, procedures, and documentation.
- Ensure that all stockroom equipment and tools are properly maintained and stored.
- Support compliance with safety and regulatory requirements in all stockroom activities.
- Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in inventory management or aviation parts management is a plus.
- Previous experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or inventory management role, preferably in the aviation, auto parts, or manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with aviation parts management, processes, and standards is highly desirable.
- Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50lbs, as required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of safety regulations and practices relevant to stockroom operations.
