Location: Lyons, MI – Onsite
Schedule: 6:00 AM start; flexibility required
We are hiring a Machine Card Operator to operate computerized equipment used to produce, encode, emboss, insert, and prepare plastic identification cards for mailing.
Responsibilities:
- Operate card embossing, encoding, and inserting equipment.
- Produce plastic ID cards according to established quality standards.
- Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance.
- Complete production logs and quality checks.
- Process special and manual ID card requests.
- Insert documents and prepare materials for mailing.
- Follow written and verbal instructions and production procedures.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous machine operator experience in a production environment.
- Experience using Windows-based computer applications.
- Strong communication and basic math skills.
- Ability to work a 6:00 AM start time.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.
Training will be provided on the operation and maintenance of plastic card/embosser equipment.
