Position Summary
We are seeking a full-time, on-site Leasing Specialist to join our team at an affordable multifamily apartment community. Reporting directly to the Property Manager, this role is essential in supporting daily operations, ensuring resident satisfaction, coordinating leasing activities, and assisting with compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with daily property operations, including leasing, resident relations, and maintenance coordination.
• Support the implementation of property management procedures to improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal affordable housing regulations.
• Build positive relationships with residents, addressing concerns and fostering community engagement.
• Conduct property inspections and coordinate timely maintenance and repairs.
• Collaborate with leasing and maintenance teams to achieve occupancy goals and maintain resident satisfaction.
• Partner with the compliance team to ensure applications, recertifications, and reporting are completed accurately and on time.
Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of multifamily property management experience.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing laws and regulations required.
• LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) experience preferred.
• Proficiency with property management software (e.g., RealPage OneSite); leasing CRM experience (e.g., Anyone Home) is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented mindset with proven ability to support collective goals.
