Orion Capital is a midsize, Los Angeles-based real estate investment and development firm focused on Multifamily assets. We are seeking an entry-level associate to join our team.

This role is a foundational opportunity designed for a highly motivated individual willing to learn and execute critical tasks across the entire development business. You will report directly to the firm’s Principals and support all phases of the project lifecycle. We prioritize drive, work ethic, and attention to detail over previous technical expertise. High performance and dedication in this position offer a clear pathway to higher-level development roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Manage document control, organize files, and assist with processing invoices and expense reports with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Project Execution (Entitlement/Permitting/Construction Management) Support the development process by tracking critical project schedules, monitoring deadlines, and following up with third-party consultants and vendors.
  • Data Collection: Assist in collecting market data, local zoning information, and property comparables
  • Basic Financials: Input data and assist in maintaining financial models and project budget tracking under direct supervision.

Qualifications

    • Demonstrated willingness to take ownership of tasks, seek solutions independently, and consistently deliver high-quality work, regardless of the task size.
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain highly organized digital and physical files.
    • Possesses a genuine interest in real estate development and an eagerness to learn complex processes.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Basic familiarity with Microsoft Excel is expected. While high proficiency is a plus, we provide comprehensive training in financial modeling and industry-specific software on the job.
  • Logistics: Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required for frequent site visits across Los Angeles.

Compensation

  • Base Salary Range: $60,000 – $75,000 per year.\
    • Actual compensation offered may vary depending on prior experience and demonstrated aptitude.
