Job Description
- Manage all aspects of personal injury litigation, including Labor Law, motor vehicle accidents, and slip-and-fall cases.
- Evaluate case merits, analyze liability, and determine case value and coverage.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and legal documents.
- Represent clients in court, depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and negotiations.
- Provide clear guidance and communication to clients throughout the litigation process.
- Review case facts, oversee medical records, and ensure timely action on all assigned cases.
- Negotiate settlements at all stages of litigation.
- Conduct legal research and provide comprehensive legal analysis.
- Manage deadlines, court appearances, and administrative tasks related to the practice.
Qualifications
- At least five years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience.
- Licensed and in good standing with the New York State Bar.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and client-relationship skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and take full ownership of cases.
- Strong research, analytical thinking, and legal writing abilities.
