World Foods Supermarket in San Diego, CA is looking for one seafood clerk to join our 65 person strong team. We are located on 5245 El Cajon Blvd. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with their seafood selections, offering recommendations, and answering any questions they may have
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming seafood shipments in accordance with food safety guidelines
• Prepare and package seafood products for sale, including filleting, portioning, and wrapping
• Ensure that all seafood products are properly labeled, priced, and displayed according to company standards
• Monitor seafood displays throughout the day, replenishing stock as needed and rotating products to ensure freshness
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the seafood department, including cleaning display cases, equipment, and work areas
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines, including proper handling and storage of seafood products
• Assist with inventory management, including conducting regular stock counts and notifying management of any discrepancies or shortages
