Job Description Job Summary: We are seeking a Weld Technician or hands-on Engineer with experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in plastics or thermoplastics environments. This is not a metals welding role. Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li> Perform and interpret welding analysis methods, including:
<ul>
<li> Cross-sections </li>
<li> Break-apart analysis </li>
<li> Tool fit evaluation </li>
<li> Interface analysis </li>
<li> Machine parameter tuning </li>
</ul>
</li>
<li> Operate and support plastic welding processes including:
<ul>
<li> Mirror welding </li>
<li> Hot gas welding </li>
<li> Laser welding </li>
<li> Hot plate welding </li>
<li> Infrared methods (Gas, Foil, Flexible Tubular Heaters, IR Lamps) </li>
</ul>
</li>
<li> Assist with vibration welding methods (a plus, not required). </li>
</ul>
 Required Skills &amp; Certifications:
<ul>
<li> Welding analysis methods </li>
<li> Mirror weld and/or hot gas welding </li>
<li> Laser welding </li>
<li> Plastics welding </li>
<li> Vibration welding (preferred) </li>
</ul>
 Additional Information:
<ul>
<li> This position requires prior experience in plastic or thermoplastic welding. </li>
<li> Relocation assistance is available as a lump sum bonus on the first day of work. </li>
