Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate / Sit-Down Forklift Operator to support daily material movement and warehouse operations within a manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for loading and unloading materials, moving inventory throughout the warehouse and production areas, preparing materials for production and customer deliveries, and maintaining accurate inventory and documentation.


Pay Rate: $19.25 per hour.
Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM–11:00 PM.


Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a sit-down forklift to load, unload, transport, and stage materials throughout the facility.
  • Load and unload raw materials, finished products, intermediate products, and other warehouse materials.
  • Move materials between warehouse storage locations and production areas according to established location plans.
  • Prepare products and materials for production and customer shipments.
  • Verify quantities, materials, and documentation to ensure shipments and receipts are accurate.
  • Record material movements and assist with maintaining accurate warehouse inventory.
  • Complete warehouse paperwork and enter information into company systems, including delivery notes, invoices, customer orders, and other documentation.
  • Inspect incoming materials and compare quantities and documentation against requirements.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse and production environment.
  • Follow all company safety, quality, environmental, and workplace policies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing activities.
  • Work cooperatively with production, shipping, receiving, and other departments to ensure materials are available when needed.
  • Perform other warehouse and material-handling duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift is required.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to accurately enter information into company systems.
  • Ability to read and understand basic warehouse documentation, labels, and shipping/receiving paperwork.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials as required by the position.
