Our ideal candidate has great customer service skills and can tackle everything from fielding customer concerns and scheduling appointments for our service department to making accurate calls about vehicle warranty protections. Compensation:

$50,000 - $90,000 + Commission


Responsibilities:

  • Schedule appointments for service technicians
  • Resolve customer complaints and make follow-up calls to facilitate a positive service center experience
  • Leverage automotive technology and product knowledge to clearly address customer needs and share the status of service appointments
  • Work with the dealership auto service porter to ensure vehicles are ready for customer pick-up
  • Manage all automotive paperwork, including repair orders, invoices, and maintenance records
  • Greet customers and assess their vehicle service needs.
  • Create accurate work orders, including detailed descriptions of customer concerns and required repairs.
  • Utilize various resources, including local parts stores, wholesale distributors, online retailers, OEM dealerships, and salvage yards, to locate and procure parts.
  • Obtain customer authorization for repairs.
  • Communicate effectively with technicians to ensure the timely and accurate completion of work.
  • Provide regular updates to customers on the status of their vehicles.
  • Explain repairs and maintenance services to customers in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Prepare and present repair estimates to customers.
  • Process payments and close out work orders.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with services.
  • Meet or exceed sales and customer satisfaction goals.


Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED is required
  • A valid, state-issued driver’s license and clean driving record is required
  • Prior experience in a service advisor role not required but is highly preferred
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and other basic computer programs is necessary
  • Proven experience as an Automotive Service Writer (minimum 2 years).
  • Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
