Key Responsibilities:
- Merchandise Ordering and Restocking:
- Monitor inventory levels and trends to ensure consistent stock of key products.
- Maintain vendor relationships and negotiate favorable pricing and terms.
- Scheduling & Staff Coordination:
- Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure proper coverage and smooth operations.
- Lead and motivate the team to deliver excellent customer service.
- Oversee onboarding and training for new retail staff.
- Craft Workshop Coordination:
- Plan and schedule engaging craft workshops in collaboration with artists and instructors.
- Promote workshops through store displays, social media, and customer outreach.
- Manage materials, space, and registration as needed.
Create retail and hospitality events with owner and marketing team (e.g., sip & shop nights, tastings, trunk shows).

- Coordinate setup, promotion, and execution events with marketing contact
- Community Engagement & Donations:
- Review and respond to donation and sponsorship requests in line with company policies.
- Represent the store in local partnerships and charitable initiatives.
- Store Duties
o Greeting and assisting customers in their purchases; making them feel welcome and sharing our story. Providing excellent customer service.
o Initiating good customer relations, encourage and use our customer loyalty program
o Using Shopify point of sale software for sales transactions and inventory
o Giftwrapping
o Restocking, dusting, and keeping merchandise and store clean and presentable
o Selling gift certificates, handling exchanges and giving store credit
o Assist staff with inventory, receiving, customer requests, shipping and special orders
o Plan store special events
o Opening and closing duties
