OpServe Safety Group provides professional event safety services for concerts, festivals, and public gatherings throughout Maryland. We are looking for dependable Event Security Agents who take pride in professionalism, situational awareness, and calm decision-making.
This role is for people who understand that event safety is about presence, communication, and preparation, not intimidation.

What You Will Do
As an Security Agent, you will:
- Maintain a professional and approachable presence at assigned events
- Monitor event areas and identify potential safety concerns
- Assist with crowd flow, access control, and credential checks
- Respond appropriately to safety issues and escalate concerns when needed
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, event staff, and attendees
- Provide customer assistance while enforcing event safety protocols
What We Are Looking For
Required:
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to pass a background check
- Eligible to obtain a Maryland security license
- Reliable transportation to event locations
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and sound judgment
Preferred:
- Prior experience in event safety, security, hospitality, or customer-facing roles
- Military, law enforcement, or first responder background
Licensing and Pay
- Licensed Event Safety Agents start at $21 per hour
- Candidates who are not currently licensed must be eligible for and complete the Maryland security licensing process within a reasonable timeframe as a condition of continued employment
- Additional pay opportunities may be available based on role, experience, and event needs
- Shifts are event-based and typically evenings and weekends
