Position: Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

Type: Contractor
Pay Rate: $18/hr
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Weekday Hours Only

FREE CPR/First Aid training offered

We are currently looking for Personal Care Assistants (PCA’s) to work in the Early Intervention program with 3–5-year-olds. This is a daycare-type setting, working 1:1 with a child who needs extra assistance with problem behaviors.

Ideal candidates are self-starters who want to work as part of a team to help improve children’s lives.

We will train you in using the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to enter notes on the child!

Core Duties

• Provide 1:1 behavioral intervention with children.
• Collaborate with the child’s treatment team to contribute valuable input and shape Individualized Treatment Plans.
• Document detailed daily observations of the child’s behavior and any relevant changes.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma and experience working with children
• OR
• Associate's Degree (or higher) in a Human Service-related field.

Job Requirements

• Access to an internet-connected device (smartphone, tablet, laptop) for entering notes.
• Pennsylvania Criminal, FBI (Dept. of Human Services), and Child Abuse Clearances.

Required Training

• Mandated Reporter training (complete for free)
• Additional training is assigned in Relias and is due within 90 days of starting your case.

Schedule

• As a contractor, choose ongoing cases that fit your weekly schedule.
• Up to 40 hours per week for individual cases. Combine cases to pick up additional hours.
