Under minimal supervision, this position analyzes customer requirements and prepares quotes for products, contacts potential and existing customers to solicit orders and assists in all aspects of customer service. No sales experience needed!
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
$27.00-$35.00/hour + Benefits
Responsibilities:
- Review customer requirements for gage applications.
- Seek technical advice from engineering/manufacturing staff on feasibility of custom gaging applications.
- Gather documentation from internal and externals sources to recommend gaging solutions, present quotes for same to customers.
- Follow up on quotes and sales leads.
- Review orders after set up, as required by staffing levels.
- Provide tech support and minor trouble-shooting, escalate calls as appropriate, issue RMAs when necessary.
- Assist customer service with providing order status information to customers; convey customer requests to appropriate persons.
- Relay customer feedback (positive or negative) to the appropriate supervisor.
- Track attendance in the ERP system, practice effective time management.
- Perform work accurately, neatly and on time.
- Comply with all policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.
- Cooperate with coworkers and supervisors.
Requirements:
- HS Diploma or GED
- Proficient in Excel, Word and ERP type computer programs
- Prior exp in quality control/inspection in a machining or manufacturing environment
- Willing to train on sales!
