Job Title: Equipment Testing Technician
Industry: Medical Device Manufacturing
Environment: Clean, temperature‑controlled, regulated facility
We are seeking a hands‑on, detail‑focused Equipment Testing Technician to ensure medical testing machines are fully functional and ready for shipment. This role plays a critical part in quality and compliance by verifying performance, identifying issues, and documenting results according to regulated standards.
What You’ll Do
- Follow written instructions to test medical equipment and verify proper functionality
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues prior to shipment
- Use hand tools and testing equipment including screwdrivers, drills, torque tools, and meters
- Accurately document testing results and complete required quality records
- Follow quality and safety standards including GMP and GDP
- Collaborate with team members and learn new testing processes
- Spend most of the day standing and working hands‑on in a clean, climate‑controlled environment
What You Need
- 2‑year technical degree
- 2–4 years of experience testing or repairing equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Comfortable using hand tools and following detailed instructions
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong English reading, writing, and speaking skills
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word)
Preferred / Additional Qualifications
- 1–2 years of electrical testing and troubleshooting experience
- Knowledge of GMP and experience completing Device History Records (DHR)
- Experience with torque wrenches, drills, meters, and electronic testing equipment

- 80% standing at workstation
- 10% walking
- Up to 10% sitting
- Frequent bending and reaching
- Required PPE: smock, safety glasses, ESG wristbands, and impact‑resistant shoes
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chaska, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.73 - $26.83/hr.
