What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Screen individuals, vehicles, packages, and/or deliveries entering and exiting the location in accordance with post orders and established security-related protocols.
- Monitor entry points, loading areas, and/or freight traffic for unusual activity, and report concerns, policy violations, and incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Support logistics and distribution operations by verifying credentials, maintaining accurate logs, and communicating clearly with site contacts regarding visitor and/or shipment access.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary throughout the site.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
