We are seeking a skilled Field Systems Technician to support our installation team across the New York City area. You will provide on-site technical support and installation services for a range of building systems and technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Ubiquiti UniFi network systems
- Set up and optimize Ruckus Wi-Fi systems
- Program and support Savant home automation systems
- Install and configure audio/video receivers and related equipment
- Provide technical support to installation teams in the field
- Test, document, and ensure all systems are operational before client handoff
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition
- Communicate with team members and clients regarding project status
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in network installation, residential AV systems
- Hands-on experience with at least 2 of: Ubiquiti, Ruckus Wi-Fi, Savant, or Lutron systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work at heights and in various job site conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
