Beninato & Matrafajlo is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Paralegal or Aspiring Paralegal to join our Elizabeth, NJ office. Compensation:
$43,000 - $55,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
- Manage case files from intake through resolution/trial;
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery demands, and motions;
- Maintain frequent communication with clients, insurance adjusters, and medical providers;
- Assist with e-filing through the NJ Judiciary and federal systems;
- Coordinate schedules, depositions, and court appearances; and
- Other related tasks as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Education: Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Experience: Previous law firm experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right "aspiring" candidate.
- Languages: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Case Management Software.
- Filevine experience is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and a professional demeanor.
