Field Service Technician | Lansing, MI
Salary Range: $57,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems on manufacturing equipment.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, calibration, and upgrades to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Install, commission, and test new machinery and production lines at customer manufacturing facilities.
- Provide comprehensive technical training and support to client personnel on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Document all service activities, including fault diagnosis, repairs performed, parts used, and customer feedback.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, quality standards, and company procedures during all service operations.
- Manage service parts inventory and tooling effectively to ensure timely and efficient repairs.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- 2+ years of experience in field service or industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Associate's degree or technical certification in industrial maintenance, electronics, mechatronics, or a related field.
- Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and utilizing diagnostic tools for industrial equipment.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with PLC/HMI programming or SCADA systems.
- Proficiency in a second language relevant to our global client base (e.g., Spanish, German).
- Certification or experience with advanced diagnostic tools (e.g., thermal imaging, vibration analysis).
- Proven ability to cultivate strong customer relationships and identify potential service/upgrade opportunities.
