Now Hiring: Facilities and Maintenance Manager

Location: 2290 S Theobald Ln, Vincennes, IN 47591

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 annually

Job Type: Full-time

Qualifying employer for the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program!

Position Summary

The Facilities and Maintenance Manager oversees the maintenance, repair, and operation of all buildings, grounds, and facility systems. This role ensures a safe, functional, and compliant environment while managing maintenance staff, vendors, budgets, and facility projects.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Manage daily facility and maintenance operations.
  • Supervise maintenance staff and contractors.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance programs and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and licensing requirements.
  • Coordinate facility improvements, renovations, and capital projects.
  • Manage departmental budgets, inventory, and vendor contracts.
  • Respond to facility emergencies and operational issues.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years of facilities or maintenance management experience.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance management software.

Working Conditions

May require occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call availability to address facility emergencies.
