We are seeking an experienced HRIS Specialist with strong Workday expertise to support and enhance our HR technology environment. This role partners closely with HR, Payroll, Benefits, IT, and Operations to ensure the integrity, security, and effectiveness of our HR systems.

About the Role

\n

The HRIS Workday Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day administration and support of Workday and related HR systems. This role serves as a primary point of contact for HRIS requests, supports employee data management, assists with benefits administration, organizational management, reporting, system testing, and data loads, and helps ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of HR data.

The HRIS Workday Specialist partners closely with Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, and Operations teams to provide functional system support, troubleshoot issues, maintain data quality, and deliver reporting solutions that support business needs.

Key Responsibilities

\n

Workday Administration & Functional Support

\n

    \n
  • Respond to and resolve HRIS support tickets and user requests.
  • \n

  • Provide functional support for Benefits, Organizational Management, and other Workday business functions.
  • \n

  • Troubleshoot system and data issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend solutions.
  • \n

  • Assist with system testing and validation for updates, enhancements, and releases.
  • \n

  • Support Workday security administration and user access requests.
  • \n

Data Management & HR Operations

\n

    \n
  • Maintain employee records and ensure the accuracy and integrity of HR data.
  • \n

  • Perform data audits, identify discrepancies, and coordinate corrective actions.
  • \n

  • Execute and validate EIBs and other data load activities.
  • \n

  • Assist with organizational structure updates, employee status changes, and position management.
  • \n

  • Maintain documentation related to system processes and procedures.
  • \n

Reporting & Analytics

\n

    \n
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute standard and ad hoc Workday reports.
  • \n

  • Support reporting requests from HR, Benefits, Payroll, and Operations teams.
  • \n

  • Partner with stakeholders to identify reporting needs and recommend reporting solutions.
  • \n

  • Assist with workforce data analysis and recurring HR metrics.
  • \n

\n

Training & Continuous Improvement

\n

    \n
  • Provide end-user support and Workday guidance to HR and business teams.
  • \n

  • Create and maintain job aids, training materials, and process documentation.
  • \n

  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve HRIS processes and system efficiency.
  • \n

  • Stay current on Workday functionality and best practices.
  • \n

Required Qualifications

\n

    \n
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • \n

  • 2-4 years of HRIS experience, including at least 2 years supporting Workday.
  • \n

  • Experience with Workday reporting and day-to-day system administration.
  • \n

  • Experience supporting employee data management, organizational management, or benefits administration.
  • \n

  • Knowledge of HRIS processes, data integrity, and system troubleshooting.
  • \n

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • \n

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • \n

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • \n

Preferred Qualifications

\n

    \n
  • Experience with Workday Benefits, HCM, Reporting, or Organizational Management.
  • \n

  • Experience performing EIBs or other HRIS data load activities.
  • \n

  • Healthcare, post-acute care, long-term care, or multi-site organization experience.
  • \n

  • Experience supporting HR, Payroll, or Benefits teams.
  • \n

  • Workday certification or advanced Workday training.
  • \n
