Job Description

North American Recovery, the nation’s premier debt collection agency, is looking for an individual to assist with the growing database software development and software servicing side of NAR. This position will include working with both old and new programming languages, writing thorough documentation, building tools, services, and automation through our technology stacks, reverse-engineering older software, and servicing clients that experience issues. Experience and/or competency in most or all of the following technologies is ideal:

• Python
o Libraries:
▪ openpyxl
▪ reportlab
▪ pandas
▪ sqlalchemy
▪ tkinter/customtkinter
▪ win32com

o Virtual environments, project compilation
▪ venv
▪ PyInstaller
• R, RMarkdown
• Transact-SQL
• Microsoft SQL Server, SSMS
• Visual FoxPro
• Git, GitHub, VS Code, related peripheral services
• Windows batch scripting
• Fundamental web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

An individual who has a strong will, high quantitative writing literacy, the tenacity to identify and fix issues autonomously, and the determination to use all of their available faculties to overcome challenges will thrive in this role.

Education and Experience
A bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field and experience working in a corporate setting are both encouraged but not required.

Income
The starting pay for this position is $25.00 per hour.
