Summary / Job Objective: The Junior Data Analyst plays a key role in maintaining and improving the quality, consistency, and accuracy of data within Simplicity’s enterprise Salesforce platform. This position supports the VP of Technology Solutions by executing hands-on data stewardship and quality-control activities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Data Quality & Stewardship
- Proactively monitor, analyze, and correct data integrity issues across Salesforce objects such as Agents, Agencies, Advisors, Clients, and Policies.
- Validate and enrich records by comparing internal data to trusted third-party sources.
- Execute scheduled and ad-hoc data cleansing initiatives to remove duplicates, normalize values, and align data with MDM and governance standards.
- Develop and maintain data hygiene dashboards, reports, and scorecards for ongoing data quality tracking.
Collaboration & Process Execution
- Partner with Licensing, New Business, and Commissions departments to identify and prioritize data improvement efforts.
- Coordinate with system administrators and business stakeholders to design, test, and implement targeted data correction workflows.
- Assist with data imports, migrations, updates, and transformations using Salesforce Data Loader and Validity’s DemandTools suite.
Governance Support
- Apply data governance policies and standards to day-to-day operations.
- Document data definitions, stewardship processes, and change management procedures.
- Participate in ongoing MDM and data stewardship program initiatives as assigned by the VP of Technology Solutions.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of experience in data operations, CRM administration, or data stewardship roles.
- Strong Excel and data manipulation skills; familiarity with large datasets.
Preferred:
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce.com (Sales Cloud preferred).
- Experience using Salesforce Data Loader, DemandTools, or similar ETL tools.
- Understanding data governance, master data management, or data quality frameworks.
- Experience working in a multi-entity or enterprise distribution organization.

- Analytical & Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex datasets, perform root cause analysis, and devise effective solutions for data issues.
- Meticulous Attention to Detail: Proven ability to identify subtle data anomalies, patterns, and inconsistencies with a high degree of accuracy.
- Collaboration & Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to articulate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively across departments.
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation (based on experience)
- Annual Base salary: $65,000 to $75,000; Exempt position
- Annual performance bonus target: 5%
