Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Estimator to support our Commercial Building Services division.

This role is responsible for reviewing mechanical plans and specifications, developing accurate equipment and system estimates, and working closely with sales and manufacturers to deliver thoughtful, complete project solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Review commercial mechanical and HVAC drawings and specifications
• Perform takeoffs and develop accurate equipment and system estimates
• Interpret plans and identify appropriate product solutions
• Coordinate with manufacturers for technical clarification and application guidance
• Work closely with outside sales to support project strategy and follow-up
• Manage multiple projects and bid deadlines simultaneously
• Assist in project transitions once awarded

Qualifications

• Experience estimating mechanical or HVAC projects preferred
• Strong understanding of commercial construction documents
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software
