What We Need: We are looking for a Design Applications Specialist 3 to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings team. The Design Application Specialist 3 is responsible for leading advanced design and specification services to our internal and external customers and end users. Services will utilize advanced software proficiency and strategic thinking to drive transformative outcomes. What You Will Do:
- Lead creative design solutions across projects of varying scales and complexities, utilizing advanced tools like CET, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 2020 Worksheet.
- Excel in space planning, product specifications, audits, and finish selections, ensuring impeccable results that exceed client expectations.
- Create captivating renderings and presentations showcasing product applications with professionalism and effectiveness.
- Influence the selling process with unique design applications and value-driven solutions, enhancing customer experiences and boosting win rates. Stay updated on product advancements and industry trends, becoming a trusted expert in the field.
- Estimate project hours accurately and manage time effectively for timely project completion.
- Provide consultative support to customers, offering relevant and impactful solutions through various communication channels.
- Drive product recommendations aligned with client needs, offering value engineering suggestions when required.
- Act as a reliable resource for design-related inquiries, providing guidance and expertise to colleagues as needed, may mentor interns. Execute activities in alignment with corporate strategies, contributing to brand building and customer relationship development.
- Participate in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization.
What You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design, Architecture, or related field.
- NCIDQ and/or LEED certifications preferred.
- At least 4 years relevant experience required; 7 years of experience preferred.
