Our ICE MAKERS are responsible for the most important function in the store- making sure we have delicious Italian Ice for our guests! Ice Makers are responsible for evaluating inventory of ices and ice mixes, preparing ices daily for sale and maintaining the cleanliness of the prep stations and shop during service hours. These responsibilities are in addition to all other Treat Team Member responsibilities:
- making tasty treats for customers
- maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the shop
- ensuring safe food-handling practices
- restocking food and paper goods during and at the end of each shift
- monitoring and maintaining inventory of daily products
Generally, ICE MAKERS will also be Shift Leaders (our Treat Team supervisory position.) This would include additional responsibilities:
- supervising and assisting other staff during shifts
- cash handling and closing duties
- bringing staff and inventory issues to the attention of the management
- confirming all items are completed by all staff during each shift
Because of the ice production requirement of this role, all applicants MUST BE 18 or over to meet the criteria of this position.
On top of your hourly rate, Treat Team Members, Shift Leaders and Ice Makers are able to earn cash tips during service hours.
