Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. As an essential member of our property management staff, you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of apartment units and common areas to ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained living environment for our residents. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to excellence will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and appeal of our property.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems and structures, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders from residents and property management staff, ensuring timely and efficient resolutions.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with appliances, fixtures, and building equipment, providing high-quality repairs and solutions.
- Collaborate with external contractors and vendors when necessary, overseeing projects to guarantee compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Uphold company policies and safety regulations to ensure a secure and hazard-free environment for all residents and staff.
- Document and report all maintenance activities, completed projects, and any unusual situations to the property management team.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school certification is a plus.
- Prior experience in apartment maintenance, facilities management, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general construction.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents and staff professionally.
- Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects as required.
