About the Role:

The Parts Washer & Warehouse Assistant plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of parts used in manufacturing or repair processes, ensuring operational efficiency and quality standards. This position involves thorough cleaning, inspection, and preparation of parts to meet company specifications and safety requirements. Additionally, the role supports warehouse operations by assisting with inventory management, organizing stock, and facilitating the smooth flow of materials within the facility. The successful candidate will contribute to a well-maintained work environment by adhering to safety protocols and supporting team efforts in logistics and supply chain activities. Ultimately, this role ensures that parts and materials are clean, properly stored, and readily available to support production and maintenance schedules effectively.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to operate parts washing machinery and related equipment safely.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
  • Physical ability to lift and move parts and materials up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, automotive, or warehouse environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software or warehouse management systems.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude to understand parts and their functions.
  • Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate parts washing equipment to clean and prepare parts according to established procedures and quality standards.

  • Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing incoming inventory in the warehouse.

  • Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and orderly work area to prevent accidents and ensure compliance.
