General Labor Services is hiring Truss Assemblers for our client in the Conway, SC area.
Pay Rate
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Truss Assemblers to join a growing manufacturing team. This position involves assembling roof and floor trusses according to specifications, using hand and power tools in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble wood trusses according to blueprints and production specifications.
- Measure, cut, position, and secure lumber components.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely.
- Inspect completed trusses for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Assist with material handling and movement of finished products as needed.
- Work closely with team members to meet production goals.
Requirements
- Previous construction, carpentry, manufacturing, or assembly experience preferred.
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Reliable transportation and good attendance.
