Job DescriptionOutside Operator
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a local grain elevator, is seeking hardworking Outside Operators to support the harvest season! We’re looking for the Farmers of the World — individuals ready to work long hours, earn overtime, and contribute to a fast?paced agricultural operation. Positions are available at locations near LeRoy and Farmer City.
This is an entry?level opportunity with no prior experience required.
Summary:
Outside Operator
Responsibilities & Duties
- Unload grain trucks during harvest season by shoveling corn from truck beds
- Direct and assist incoming trucks as they arrive to dump grain
- Perform ground maintenance duties, including cleaning and maintaining grain bin areas
- General housekeeping and cleanup of work areas to ensure safety and cleanliness
- Assist with other outdoor tasks as assigned to support daily operations
Requirements & Expectations
- No prior experience required – entry?level position
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to work long hours and extended shifts during peak harvest season
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor environments
- Ability to shovel, bend, lift, and stand for extended periods
Schedule
- 8Hour, 10Hour, and 12Hour Shifts
- Day Shift and Night Shift
- Overtime available during peak season
- Weekend availability required
