Architectural Designer / Jr Project Manager - Revit
Full-Time | In-Office | $68,000-$75,000 per year
JM2 Architecture, D.P.C. is seeking a motivated Architectural Designer / Jr Project Manager with approximately 2-3 years of professional architectural experience to join our Long Island firm.
We are looking for someone who has a solid foundation in Revit, enjoys producing construction documents, and is ready to continue developing their project management skills while working alongside an experienced team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their architectural career who wants hands-on experience with a wide variety of projects and the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility as their skills develop.
Responsibilities
Prepare and develop architectural drawings and construction documents using Revit
Assist with projects from preliminary design through construction documents and permitting
Perform field measurements and document existing conditions
Coordinate drawings and project information with project managers, architects, consultants, and clients
Research applicable zoning and building code requirements
Assist with municipal submissions, comments, and revisions
Maintain organized and accurate project files and documentation
Manage assigned tasks, deadlines, and project hours
Participate in project meetings and coordination as experience develops
Qualifications
Approximately 2-3 years of professional experience in an architectural firm
Strong working knowledge of Revit
Experience preparing architectural construction documents
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Experience with residential and/or commercial projects is a plus
Long Island municipal, zoning, or permitting experience is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $68,000-$75,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
