Position Overview:
- The firm is seeking a Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join its growing Hasbrouck Heights office.
- This role offers hands-on litigation experience, significant client interaction, and the opportunity to work closely with experienced trial attorneys.
- The ideal candidate will have 2–6 years of litigation experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage personal injury matters from inception through resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from pre-suit through settlement or trial.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda.
- ake and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
- Attend court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, settlement conferences, and case management conferences.
- Communicate regularly with clients regarding case strategy and status.
- Review medical records and coordinate with medical experts.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel.
- Assist with trial preparation and trial proceedings.
- Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to provide exceptional client representation.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active New Jersey Bar admission required.
- 2–6 years of litigation experience.
- Personal injury experience is required (plaintiff or defense backgrounds welcome).
- Experience handling matters in New Jersey Superior Court.
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
- Deposition and courtroom experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $115,000–$140,000 (commensurate with experience)

- Plaintiff or defense personal injury attorney.
- Experience in any personal injury practice area.
- Workers' Compensation experience is a plus, but not required.
- Strong third-party personal injury experience preferred.

- Comfortable working closely with partners and junior attorneys.
