We are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join our team on a contract basis in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will support legal professionals by managing essential administrative tasks and ensuring smooth operations within a personal injury litigation environment. This Legal Secretary position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and a background in legal documentation and calendaring.


How you will make an impact:

• Prepare and manage legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, and correspondence.

• Coordinate scheduling and maintain accurate calendars for court appearances, deadlines, and meetings.

• Handle e-filing processes efficiently to ensure timely submission of legal documents.

• Utilize case management software to organize and track case-related information.

• Assist with billing functions and generate invoices using relevant tools.

• Conduct client communications to address inquiries and provide updates on case progress.

• Manage document formatting and editing using Adobe Acrobat.

• Ensure compliance with legal procedures and deadlines through effective organization.

• Collaborate with attorneys to prepare case files and briefing materials.

• Utilize tools such as Aderant and Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) for data management and reporting.

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably in personal injury litigation.

• Proficiency in e-filing processes and legal documentation preparation.

• Familiarity with case management software, such as Aderant and CompuLaw.

• Strong knowledge of calendaring and scheduling for court appearances and legal deadlines.

• Advanced skills in Adobe Acrobat for document editing and formatting.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and legal professionals.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
