CT Technologist - Radiology & CT
\n
Job Details:
\n
• Work Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM
\n • Float between X-ray and CT departments as required
\n • Review patient history and physician's orders prior to procedures
\n • Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation
\n • Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice when ordered
\n • Monitor patient condition continually and report/respond to changes in status as appropriate
\n • Prepare equipment and supplies and implement safety standards
\n • Perform appropriate quality control procedures on equipment
\n • Troubleshoot, resolve, and/or report equipment malfunctions as necessary
\n • Position patients and perform imaging procedures
\n • Analyze results and identify issues with imaging quality, taking appropriate action including repositioning patients and repeating procedures
\n • Enter, transmit, and report scan results
\n • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Radiology and CT required
\n • Associate degree in radiologic technology required; CT technology certificate program preferred
\n • BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
\n • ARRT certification in Radiology and CT required
\n
