Our client is a private equity-backed, multi-location specialty building products dealer generating $20M+ in revenue and serving custom home builders and subcontractors across Southern California. With a loyal customer base, strategic market footprint, and a reputation for service excellence, the company is positioned for 20–25% annual growth through a combination of organic expansion and acquisitions.


Operations span several high-opportunity markets, from Santa Barbara down the coast to LA. Supported by a shared services platform and a performance-driven culture, the company plays a vital role in supplying luxury residential projects with premium materials and is poised for transformational growth.


The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic, growth-oriented General Manager to lead the company through its next stage of expansion. This is a hands-on, field-facing leadership role with full P&L responsibility, overseeing both sales and operations across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience selling specialty products to builders and subcontractors, a proven ability to scale multi-site teams, and the strategic mindset to build out and execute a go-to-market plan in a growth-focused, entrepreneurial environment.

What you will need to be successful

  • Proven experience leading a $20M+ multi-location business, ideally within specialty building products, installation, distribution, or subcontractor services
  • Deep understanding of sales to builders, subcontractors, and remodelers in Southern California
  • Track record of setting vision and driving execution in a high-growth or transformational setting
  • High-energy, field-driven leader who leads by example and connects easily with frontline teams and customers
  • Strong P&L acumen (can be taught or developed further) and experience working in a private equity environment is a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
