Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot chemical, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic equipment, controllers, and supplies.

Perform diagnostic analysis.
-
Assist in the installation of new equipment.
-
Perform periodic scheduled and corrective maintenance of installed equipment in an assigned territory.
-
Repair and correct malfunctions as necessary.
-
Modify or update equipment when required.
-
Prepare detailed service and failure records and recommend changes to customers to improve revenues and reduce total costs.
-
Maintain tools, test equipment, and materials professionally.
-
Work with processes unique to customer needs.
-
Counsel clients on use, operation, and maintenance of equipment.
-
Participate in problem-solving regarding customer complaints.
-
Maintain good communication with customers and internal personnel to ensure effective information flow.
-
Stay updated on developments and innovations that improve departmental and company performance.
-
Apply technical knowledge to perform the job and develop improved methods.
-
Accurately perceive and report information from others clearly and concisely.
-
Be computer and tech savvy-all paperwork and communication are electronic.

Report daily to the Field Service Manager on any outstanding issues.
Qualifications:
-
Minimum 5 years of related experience.
-
At least 2 years of industrial electrical experience (12VDC, 24VDC, 24VAC, 120VAC, 208VAC-480VAC).

Ability to lift 75 lbs.
-
Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams.
-
Ability to disassemble and reassemble mechanical components using common sense, exploded views, and minimal guidance.
-
Excellent employee and customer relations skills.
-
Experience with the relevant equipment is a plus.
-
Neat and clean in appearance with an excellent driving record.
-
Background check required.
Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent
Required Experience:

Electrical troubleshooting: 5 years
-
Mechanical and technical: 5 years
-
Industrial mechanic or field service: 3 years
Required License or Certification:

Driver's license
