The Journeyman Framer constructs and assembles structural frameworks for residential buildings, translating plans and specifications into safe, accurate, and high-quality work.
Responsibilities
- Interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood framing components.
- Construct walls, floors, roofs, and other structural elements.
- Install and align framing materials according to project requirements.
- Inspect completed framing for accuracy, quality, and structural integrity.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work area.
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in residential framing.
