FACILITIES & MAINTENANCE TEAM MEMBER - Launch Family Entertainment Clearwater (Countryside Mall)
Hourly | Part-Time | Operations Support | Weekend Availability Required

WHO YOU ARE:
You’re hands-on, detail-oriented, and take pride in keeping things running. You know how to spot a leaky faucet, fix a loose table, and troubleshoot minor equipment issues before they become big problems. You don’t mind getting your hands dirty and understand the importance of a clean and safe facility.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As a Facilities & Maintenance Team Member, you’ll perform daily cleaning responsibilities while also handling basic repair work, preventive maintenance, and responding to unexpected maintenance needs across the park. You’ll support all departments and occasionally assist with attractions maintenance under guidance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Follow and complete daily cleaning checklists for all park areas.
- Perform routine janitorial tasks: vacuuming, mopping, surface sanitizing, trash removal, and restroom upkeep.
- Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and tools.
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance for non-attraction park systems (lighting, seating, public areas, etc.).
- Respond to unscheduled maintenance issues as they arise (plumbing, electrical, general repairs).
- Assist with minor maintenance of attraction equipment and communicate any major issues to management.
- Perform facility walk-throughs to ensure operational readiness and cleanliness.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance storage and work areas.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed when handling tools and chemicals.
- Support larger park projects and setup needs when assigned by leadership.
- Communicate effectively with managers and staff regarding completed tasks or work in progress.
WHAT IT TAKES:
- Prior experience in janitorial, facilities, or maintenance work preferred.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, safety equipment, and facility systems (we’ll train where needed).
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Comfortable working independently and staying proactive.
- Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and peak times.
- Positive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility.
